That’s why we take a whole-child approach to learning, one that values curiosity over conformity, growth over grades, and relationships over routines. Our individualized tutoring programs are built around each learner’s unique strengths, needs, and ways of thinking. We work in partnership with families, educators, and students to create environments where children feel safe, capable, and empowered to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Founder
Educator, advocate, mom, and proud sidekick to a very fluffy therapy dog named Moose (he takes his job very seriously).
I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University and a K–12 Special Education teaching credential. Over the course of my career, I’ve served as Head of School and Director for two private schools, leading programs that centered on individualized learning and whole-child development. With more than a decade of experience working with neurodivergent learners and partnering with their families, I bring both expertise and compassion to every student I support.
Over the years, I’ve worked one-on-one with incredible students—designing personalized learning plans, advocating in schools, and helping create environments where neurodiverse students feel safe, seen, and understood.
I believe in education for all. Rooted in compassion, creativity, and the freedom to all ways be who they are.
Meet the Team
Giuliana Rutigliano, M.A.
Giuliana is a dedicated classroom teacher in Fairfield, Connecticut, who brings warmth, experience, and a whole-child perspective to her work with students. She holds a Professional Educator License and teaching certification, along with a STEM-focused undergraduate degree with a minor in Psychology and a Master’s in Education from Sacred Heart University.
Giuliana believes that meaningful learning happens when students feel understood, supported, and confident in themselves. Her approach looks beyond academics alone, taking into account each child’s strengths, challenges, interests, and individual learning needs. She is passionate about helping students build both the skills and self-confidence they need to grow as learners.
Steven Angelo, M.S, M.A.
Steven is an experienced special education teacher who has spent more than a decade supporting students with a wide range of learning needs. He currently works in Stamford Public Schools, where he serves in leadership roles within special education. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Adolescence Education and Social Studies, a Master’s in Special Education, Connecticut certification in Comprehensive Special Education K–12, and an advanced degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.

Steven believes that students learn best when they feel understood, supported, and comfortable taking risks. He works to create a positive learning environment where students can build on their strengths, work through challenges, and develop the confidence to approach learning with greater independence.
